This is a new Character, Naval Lieutenant Bayerlein, which I speed painted up for a 'Ard Boyz event. Total paint time was about 5 hours. He still needs some work (and will get it, but he's done enough for the moment) Officer of the Fleet Bayerlein

These first few links are of the 'New Tank Program.' Only completed tanks are shown. I'm using a lot of new techniques from the FW Model Masterclass book on these.

On this tank I've used oil washes, paint chipping, graphic wear and some experiments with weathering powders.

Completed Eradicator Tank. Note the chipping and wear behind the smoke launcher and on the track guards nearby. This is from the tank commander clambering up his vehicle many times since it was last painted.

Another view showing the tank commander and dozer blade in better light.

From the rear showing the stowage and the vehicle's name.

Looking down the 'mouth'. You can really see the new weathering powder work on the dozer blade in this one. Note that the commander is a full, removeable model and is here shown standing next to his tank.

Close up. Sadly the lighting kills all the very subtle face work on the TC. It's much nicer in person. This shot is a bit of a disappointment. The soot around the muzzle is thinned down weathering powder. The silvering on the edge of the gun muzzle and the grab rails is done with a pencil.

And now on to the rest of our program...
